Mastercard introduces a new process for escalating disputes. This will save merchants both time and money. This new workflow was put into effect on July 17, 2020.
Arbitration Chargeback (also known as a Second Chargeback) has been abolished and will no longer apply to disputes. Issuers are now able to initiate the following processes. They can do it following a dispute, pre-arbitration, arbitration, pre-compliance and compliance.
